A few blackbook runners have bobbed up at Kilmore this Thursday. Not the first time they’ve been tipped on this website so hopefully Thursday is the day they break through or they’ll be getting the sack!
Race 1 Number 10 Yankee Diva
Was a blackbook runner following her flashing finish at Kilmore two starts back. Comes into this third up, second run at 2000m and comes out of a hot form race (I wrote about it here). Still holds a hopeful nomination for the ATC Oaks, if anything it shows the talent the stable think she has. Finds a much easier race here.
Race 2 Number 5 Roanoke
This mare by Fiorente is finally edging toward her right distance. A really nice run first up at this track against the pattern. Was then well supported at Werribee the following start but was ridden too far back in the field. Gets the blinkers on now so you’d expect her to be a few pairs closer to the lead. She can atone for that performance here. The favourite Glamzelle has been around the mark, but Roanoke can turn the tables on her up in distance.
