Locally trained galloper who has two wins from three starts. Drops in grade and although has to carry the weight, is on an upward trajectory.

Warrnambool Next Best: Race 2 Number 11 Mostrava

Race fit horse that was held up and hit the line strongly at Terang. Is drawn well here and race experience on her side is an advantage.

Warrnambool Best Value: Race 3 Number 7 Prickley Prince

His run at Terang last start deserves more credit after missing the start. Has been backed at both starts off a nice jumpout before the prep. Has already been $17 into $10 and think he’s a big each way chance up in trip.

Moonee Valley Best Bet: Race 3 Number 3 Meiner Legacy

Had good city form before winning impressively at Cranbourne last start. Can go on with it again here.

Moonee Valley Next Best: Race 9 Number 2 Quraysha

Was in impressive winner this track and distance last start. With the claim from Matthew Cartwright she doesn’t go up in weight and although the barrier is a little sticky, she’s a mare in form and will be hard to beat.

Moonee Valley Best Value: Race 2 Number 7 Sandy Prince

Resumes off a Flemington jumpout win and has some good metro form from campaigns past. Has run some good races at the Valley and while the short priced favourite will be hard to beat, he can give this race a shake fresh.
